Imtiaz Ali’s new movie Amar Singh Chamkila starring Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh is getting ready to be released on Netflix. The songs of this movie are penned by Irshad Kamil and composed by A.R Rahman. After the release of two songs Naram Kaalja and Ishq Mitaye from Amar Singh Chamkila movie, the makers have now released the third song, named Tu Kya Jaane which is sung by Yashika Sikka.
This song revolves around the growing feelings of Amarjot Kaur played by Parineeti Chopra for Chamkila played by Diljit Dosanjh.
The song album is very special because after 9 years people will again witness the magic of the trio Imtiaz Ali director, A.R Rahman composer, and Irshad Kamil the lyricist of the movie. An acclaimed singer has also joined the band for this movie. Last time this trio was together for Ranbir Kapoor’s movie Rockstar.
This movie features six original Hindi songs sung by the main leads of the movie Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. These songs were recorded during the live shooting process.
