Records break in advance ticket sales by Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. The film has grossed a massive “568,000 tickets on BookMyShow (BMS)”. It has entered the “top 10 highest pre-sales of 2024” and has surpassed the “Dunki” of Shah Rukh Khan. It is now at number 5.
“Singham Again” slows down in pre-sales but gathers pace
On the other hand, “Rohit Shetty’s” much-awaited “Singham Again” was a slow start as it was released later for booking, with “421,000 tickets sold on BMS”. However, that still places the film in the “top 10 highest pre-sales of 2024”, with both films doing better than Hrithik Roshan’s “Fighter”, which sold “307,000 tickets”. Currently, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3″ and *”Singham Again” are in second and third positions of the advance sales of 2024 and are lagging only behind “Stree 2”.
Who will win the box office battle?
At least three weeks in advance, multiplexes were sold. And with both of them hitting the cinemas, more so, the box office has become a competitive thing. In the last leg, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” sold “30,000 tickets on BMS” marginally ahead of “Singham Again”, which could garner “28,000 tickets” in the same period. With the festive season bringing in crowds, whether “Singham Again” will be able to breach that gap or “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” carries on from the front itself remains to be seen.
