The drama series premiered on 13th July 2020 on Starplus and can be digitally streamed via Disney Plus Hotstar.
The serial is produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the banner of Director’s Kut Productions. The serial is a remake of the Bengali TV serial Sreemoyee that used to feature on Star Jalsha.
The plot revolves around Anupama (Rupali Ganguli) who is a middle aged housewife toiling for her family. Her constant emotional support are her younger son, Samar who is a dancer by profession and her father in law, Hasmukh. However, despite being a good and supporting housewife to her husband, her world comes crashing down when she gets to know about her husband cheating on her with his colleague Kavya. Anupama feels dejected and gets along to find her inner self exploring her and fulfilling her wishes although staying in her husband’s house.
The series progresses and newer characters come in showing the rest of the family members.
TRP Rating:
The serial with 1373 episodes running as of now started off from mid 2020. The serial has topped the TRP rating with TVR of 2.6 currently.
