Mahesh Bhatt along with Vikram Bhatt surprised the audiences and the media by unveiling their four dream projects together at the press meet held on 12th August’s evening. Four distinct films, each from a different genre, captivated audiences with their diversity and unique appeal. The lead on this event was certainly taken by the biopic of Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF clinic.
Tumko Meri Kasam: Tops the Chart of Bhatt Films
It’s a film based on the life of Indira IVF’s Founder and owner, Dr. Ajay Murdia. He was present to grace this occasion among the producers and full star cast. The lead cast of the film comprises of the veteran actor, Anupam Kher, followed by Adah Sharma, Esha Deol and Ishwak Singh. The film is most inspiring as it marvellously crafts the life story of Dr. Ajay and his wife Indira and is expected to be a delight for cinephils. Anupam Kher, the highly acclaimed actor who plays the protagonist said, “This occasion is special as I began my career with Bhatt Sahab, with the film Saaransh, its even more special as we sit here after so many years, sharing the stage today for a heart touching real life based film. Bhatt Sahab’s and my work together has gained love among the audience and we hope the same for this beautiful venture.”
The film also has an interesting female cast, Esha Deol, the actress who after being away from the limelight for a while will be seen doing some court room scenes, and was glad enough to share the excitement , “I had been away for a while and to be back with such a promising and an interesting role is certainly a joy ride ,hope the audience showers love.” Adaa Sharma, the actress popularly known for Kerala Story is playing the young female protagonist, Indira, in the film and couldn’t contain her excitement. She spoke about the brilliant opportunity offered to her and expressed her gratitude to Vikram Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt.
Rann, A Story of Valour and Bravery
The ceremony was gracefully opened with warm welcome by Mr. Vikram Bhatt who opened the ceremony by unveiling the poster of his very captivating venture Rann. Director Vikram Bhatt known for his horror – thriller films has ventured into historic biopics with his awaited project Rann. Vikram Bhatt mentioned about his love for different genres and quoted, “I know my popularity lies in horror and thriller based films but Rann is an exceptional film, which is based on our Indian history. The film is based on the historical event, when Rana Raj Singh, the ruler of Mewar, fought against the Jizya tax imposed forcefully by Aurangzeb. Its a story of valour and bravery.”
Viraat: The Enchanting Tale of a Devoted Tiger
The second on the list of unveiling was the much awaited yet a very interesting piece of British Colonial History. It’s a story that revolves around a tiger who saved the way to a Mata’s(Goddess’s)Temple. The British wanted to demolish it for a railway track. The story navigates on the bravery of the devoted tiger, who attacks the British to save the temple up the hill.
Tu Meri Puri Kahani: An Enchanting Tale of Love and Romance
The bouquet of Bhatt films will be incomplete without a fairy like love story, a romantic ventureMahesh Bhatt called it a new age romance with an old soul. “This is most exciting as we like to indulge in romance genre, personally I think its refreshing and lovely to be able to make a significance through meaningful romantic films. Tu Meri Puri Kahaani is just the young love story today’s young generation would love to watch. As the title speaks for itself, it’s a complete love story, it’s a puri Kahaani,” said Mahesh Bhatt.
Music of the Film
The film, Tumko Meri Kasam features beautiful, soul-stirring romantic songs, promising great news for fans of romance. The Music of the film is composed by the versatile and the popular music composer, Anu Malik.
Over all the four films are of different genres and have meaty stories for cinephils to indulge in.
