His old teammate, Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), now owns a struggling Formula 1 team and asks Sonny to return for one last chance to win. Sonny teams up with rookie driver Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) who is eager to prove himself. As the race heats up, Sonny learns that in Formula 1, teammates can be rivals, and redemption isn’t something you achieve alone.

F1 Movie Trailer Review

The sports drama movie F1 follows Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, an aging racer making a comeback to Formula 1. Filmed on real tracks with real F1 cars, the movie’s trailer is quite impressive for keeping it original in the AI-driven world. The trailer shows Javier Bardem’s character offering Sonny Hayes a spot on his struggling F1 team to mentor rookie driver Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris). But Hayes has to prove himself against his young teammate while battling his aging body and the label of a “never-was.” The film’s practical racing scenes, soundtrack, and crisp editing are what sets it apart as an inspirational film to watch.
