It is almost a scam for theatres to Re- Release one of the finest and most beloved classic Romantic Dramas just because of its relevance and fixed obsession. ‘Pride and Prejudice’ has a double obsession – one from the reading community and one from the classic periodic film fanatics, ticking every possible box for a good watch.
With several notable adaptations, all loved by the audience, ‘Pride and Prejudice’ films have always been a rewatchable, comfortable movie for many. The 2005 version with Kiera Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen taking the roles of the iconic Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy is a fan favorite. From one of the most successful periodic drama directors, Joe Wright, in his feature film debut, has all of our hearts flooding with the charming cast right from the pages of Jane Austen.
The greatest love story ever told. Pride & Prejudice is coming back to theaters nationwide beginning on April 20th.

So it’s time for the Bookstagram and the Romance girls to flock to the theatres on 20 April 2025. Witness the hand flex, hold your breath for Darcy to walk out from the early morning fog to the ever so satisfying end credit scene on the big screen.
