Metro In Dino release date confirmed: Capturing the essence of modern-day relationships

Anurag Basu’s highly anticipated anthology film ‘Metro In Dino’ has another release date. This project is a sequel to ‘Life In a Metro’ (2007) – that centred on stories of couples in different settings and life scenarios.

The first part had an ensemble cast, including Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, Shilpa Shetty, Kangana Ranaut, Shiney Ahuja, Sharman Joshi, Dharmendra and Nafisa Ali. ‘Metro In Dino’ also stars prominent actors in major roles.

Earlier today, the makers of ‘Metro In Dino’ announced the release date as July 4, 2025. This anthology film of Basu is going to present a beautiful collection of stories of heart from different cities, seamlessly letting love, fate and city life collide to make magic.

Starring Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur, ‘Metro In Dino’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Basu and Taani Basu. It is presented by Anurag Basu Productions and T-Series is the official distributor.

Sharing more details about the upcoming film, Basu had earlier mentioned that ‘Metro In Dino’ is a tale for the people based on the people. He described Bhushan Kumar as a ‘pillar to me’ and expressed his happiness at the collaboration.

‘Metro In Dino’ is expected to present a fresh storyline that is relevant at the same time. Music plays a big role in any film and Pritam has taken up the responsibility this time. The songs from the project shall carefully capture the essence of modern-day relationships.

Anurag Basu is famous for his films like ‘Life In a Metro’, ‘Ludo’, Barfi’, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and ‘Murder’. His films are prominent for tackling bold themes of passion, jealousy and adultery. It is going to be a fun experience to catch on to ‘Metro In Dino’ in theatres on July 4.
