According to the sources, Border 2 starring Sunny Deol will not be the same as Border from 1997. Instead, Border 2 is related to a story that happened on the same night when Border’s events occurred. Sources also mentioned that Border 2 will be portrayed from the perspectives of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force who strongly fought in the battle of Longewala.

Border is a war Bollywood film directed by J.P Dutta and was released on 13 June 1997. The story of the movie portrays the battle of Longewala between India and Pakistan in 1971. Led by Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri (played by Sunny Deol) Indian Soldiers fought against a much larger Pakistani force. This film was a huge blockbuster as it highlighted the concepts of bravery and patriotism. In this movie, Suniel Shetty portrays the characters of Bhairav Singh, Akshaye Khanna as Dharamvir, Pooja Bhatt as Kanu, and Tabu as Kuldeep’s wife. The outstanding performances by the star cast of this movie were one of the major reasons for the huge success of this movie.
