Bollywood actor, writer, and producer Sohum Shah has released the teaser of his upcoming movie titled Crazxy. The film is backed by Sohum Shah Films (SSF) and it introduces us to the action-thriller theme of the film where the lead actor is trapped in a Chakravyuh. Sohum Shah is seen playing the part of Abhimanyu with the background music of a remastered version of Kishore Kumar’s classic song, Abhimanyu Chakravyuh Mein Phans Gaya Hai Tu. For the unversed, the song was a part of Amitabh Bachchan’s Inquilaab.

The teaser promo starts with a radio announcement of how after the success of the film Tumbbad, Sohum Shah Films presents a new film titled Crazxy. Then the viewers are introduced to Abhimanyu who is noticed negotiating with someone over the phone, the role may be played by Tinu Anand, as per reports. The synopsis shared by the makers of the film tells that the story is about a father’s redemption on the worst day of his life. It combines edge-of-the-seat thrills with deep emotional stakes.
Crazxy Teaser Review:
The teaser started in a unique way, especially with a radio announcement that acknowledged the past success of the film backed by the makers of the new film. Hadn’t seen such a trailer for a long time in Bollywood. Also, what made me curious was to know who the lead character was because his face wasn’t fully shown to the viewers. So, if we just watch the teaser video without knowing the background of the cast and crew, we get to know there is an aging Doctor named Abhimanyu and the character’s smoking habit, eye-glasses, and half-face are shown focusing on the eyes and his backside while he is talking on the phone, it is all a good way to keep the viewers hooked and wanting to know more. When Dr. Abhimanyu asks the person on the phone, what is it that the person wants, the viewers get to know that there is a huge problem that he has to solve. When Dr. Abhimanyu collapses after the call, the background song of Abhimanyu Chakravyuh Mein Phans Gaya Hai Tu makes us understand that Abhimanyu is facing a complicated situation.
The Crazxy film’s promo teaser has a dark grey shade and no bright colors despite the lead character standing near a windmill under a cloudy sky during the daytime. So, we can expect a lot of negative incidents happening in the film, thus justifying the thriller theme of the film. This makes the movie feel serious and maybe even a bit scary. So, the makers have made it quite clear to the viewers what they can expect from the full-length film through the 0.55-second teaser.
Crazxy looks like it could be a really intense thriller. The way the teaser is made, the music, and the hints about the story definitely make me want to see the whole movie. I’m curious to find out what Abhimanyu is dealing with.
