The long-awaited film “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” starring Kartik Aaryan is only been days away from its release, and the stir around the film at the box office is growing rapidly. The horror-comedy, film is in a much better position to have a good opening during Diwali though it will have stiff competition from “Singham Again “. Based on the initial reports, the film seems set to establish a healthy niche for itself at the box office. This is how things are building up with booking figures and the response from the audience.
A Delay in Full-Fledged Advance Booking
As it is a tradition for big releases to start booking a week before the movie’s release, “BhoolBhulaiyaa 3” faced a small hiccup. The primary reason? A clash with *Singham Again*, has resulted in ongoing negotiations with theater exhibitors. For instance, the early pre-booking period was given to “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2”. This time though the fans will have to wait a little longer as the ‘full-fledged’ bookings are expected to be up and running shortly, potentially by tonight or tomorrow, as per the latest updates.
A Promising Start for “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” Despite a Low Advance Booking
Despite the delay, the initial response has been overwhelmingly positive. Ticket bookings started featuring show timings in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi-NCR but national- cinema chains such as PVR-INOX and Cinepolis have only recently started listing Show timings. Despite the limited number of bookings, the film includes a strong interest, especially in non-national cinema chain theaters.
As of today “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”, generated ₹48 lakh gross excluding block seats for the same and as many as 17,000 plus tickets and around 1,030 shows all over the nation. This first boost in demand comes from Gujarat, with a gross of ₹12 lakh, while Maharashtra follows close behind with a gross of ₹11 lakh. The film is expected to earn more than ₹1 crore for the bookings alone by the end of the day.
Creating a Winning Environment
Carrying forward the successful run of the booking, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” has all the potential to score a good opening day. Going by this opening reconfirms that the fans of the franchise were waiting for Kartik Aaryan to return to the spooky-comedy zone undeterred by the competition from “Singham Again”. With more artistic spaces across the country going live on bookings, it will be interesting to see how the should perform in its opening days.
