Second Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss Season 18 saw an emotional Salman Khan after the death of close friend and ex-minister Baba Siddique. The episode started with Salman questioning housemates’ choice of Time God and their cluelessness of the contestants of the true power of Time God, hence questionably choosing Arfeen Khan as the central power holder. Shilpa, the senior-most housemate, refused to eat any food unless Avinash apologised for humiliating her – something even Salman expressed concerns for. He reasoned out Shilpa that going on hunger strike was not a stand that would resonate with her family and audience.
Salman Khan decodes Avinash and ration control fiasco
Salman questioned housemates for accusing Avinash of being a danger to girls. He then said it was obvious stand by Avinash to use his ration control power for taking revenge from housemates having accused and cornered him. The episode was predominantly focused on Salman Khan de-coding what traversed in the whole Avinash and ration release to housemates fiasco. Salman stressed that the condition that Avinash put forth that he wants discussion with all and then he would release food was completely reasonable and nothing wrong with him using his power to his advantage.
Salman also thrashed housemates for accusing Avinash for being a danger to girls, stating this directly impacts his family and is not a responsible statement to make.
Salman took a jibe at mind coach Arfeen Khan during second Weekend Ka Vaar
The tensions during Weekend Ka Vaar were at its peak during the Weekend Ka Vaar performance, where the host Salman Khan scolded the mind coach and Time God Arfeen Khan for his lack of stand, rather a confused stand in the house. Salman was irked over Arfeen’s decision of shutting down the kitchen and questioned the sensibility of the same.
Salman was not only highlighting the wrong doings of Arfeen but was also doubting the credibility of Arfeen’s profession which frustrated the latter’s wife and housemate Sara Arfeen Khan.
Sara looked extremely uncomfortable before Salman made his remarks, and she even said that he favoured other actors. She said, “Even we can say that actors are being biased towards actors. Actors dusre actors ka ego massage kar rahe hai,” claiming that Salman was defending his fellow actors while unfairly attacking her husband. This comment did produce a tense moment between the couple; Arfeen tried to stop his wife from making that comment, telling her not to speak like that.
Promos for Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar reveal another fight between Karanveer and Avinash
In the new promo of Bigg Boss 18 for the October 20 episode, we see Karanveer Mehra and Avinash Mishra engaging in another big fight. In the Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar, contestants would be given a cooking task by Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain along with Krushna Abhishek entering the house. Karanveer Mehra is participating in the task and Avinash goes on teasing him and says, “Koi kaam toh pura karle”, signalling him to serve the food. Later Karanveer argues with Avinash stating that he’ll make sure he gets to learn a thing or two and leaves the Bigg Boss house. He also teases Avinash saying, “Papa agaye hain, don’t worry.” This triggers Avinash. It turns into a huge argument between the two leading to almost a physical fight as Avinash pushes away Karanveer’s hand.
