Akshay Kumar’s professional journey
Born as Rajeev Bhatia on 9th September 1967 to Hari Om Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia, in Amritsar, Akshay Kumar grew up in Old Delhi`s Chandni Chowk area. He later moved to Mumbai where he completed his schooling at Don Bosco School, after which he joined Guru Nanak Khalsa College for his higher education. He began his career in the early 1990s with action-oriented roles, gaining popularity for his martial arts skills and versatility in various genres.
Over the years, he has become one of the highest-paid actors in India, known for his disciplined work ethic and prolific output. Kumar has appeared in a wide range of films, including comedies, dramas, and socially relevant movies, earning numerous awards and accolades for his performances. Akshay Kumar has done 150 films so far.
Recently Akshay Kumar spoke about his string of 16 consecutive flops at the trailer launch of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘. Akshay, at the trailer launch event, said, “We keep on trying for every type of film. I don’t stick to one kind of genre. I keep on jumping from one genre to another, whether there is success or no success, that’s how I have always worked. I’ll keep on doing it… something social, something that is good, something in comedy, in action.”

The story of the movie is To succeed in the film industry, Myra chooses Bachchan Paandey, a notorious hooligan, as the main focus of her new movie. This movie was released on 24 Feb 2023 and directed by Raj Mehta. The film cast is. Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Diana Penty. The story of the “Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar needs to get a new driver’s license from an RTO officer.
